Hack Along with Goldie Blox

GoldieBlox had a toy character. We turned her into a YouTube star.

Hack Along with GoldieBlox was a weekly DIY series hosted by Goldie, the brand's signature character brought to life as a real on-camera personality. Each episode features three hands-on “hacks,” walking young viewers through creative builds while sneaking in STEM along the way. The series ran for over 120 episodes.

I joined during the early days of the channel and worked my way up to fully producing, writing, and directing it in my second year. The show was built around Goldie's personality, so a big part of my job was directing young talent to bring the humor and charm that kept audiences coming back.

Beyond the core series, I directed branded content integrations for Sony Pictures, BIC, and episodes tied to new GoldieBlox product launches.
