Robot Runway

The mission: get young girls excited about STEM. Enter Robot Runway.

A live action competition series where young contestants mash their favorite toys together into DIY robots, then battle them on a runway over a pit of slime. First bot in the slime loses. Every episode ends with a dance party.

The robots were actually built by the kids themselves, and I was on set helping them bring their builds to life. Part creative collaborator, part hype person. I wrote the episode scripts and pitched the themed robot matchups, which we timed to tentpole moments and trending topics.

Across 40+ episodes as an associate producer, I helped build a show that grew the YouTube channel subscriber base and made STEM feel like the most fun thing in the world.
